~3P Update~ Images, Social Networking and Database reduction

Good news! Our database has shaved off 14.6MB.

Visitor Messages and Social Group Messages are now pruned to the most recent 10 Messages. I tried to prune till the most recent 100 Messages, but the server takes only 2-digits. So, I might try 99 for now or find another number to prune. Still looking into the code.

Also, all smilies work. They were hard coded to the '1atk.com' and needed to be recoded to 'pikachu.palpadpark.com'. The pikachu url hold our badge images, POKEDEX images and IV & STAT Calculator. All badges are now working again too.

Some social networking PalPadPark account(s) have been created. PalPadPark for Twitter, YouTube, and GMail are now up and running. Nothing is posted to them yet, but that is for the community to help with videos and such. Our community however has moved toward Pokemon and other nitches. We just need to find those other nitches.

Finally, our board is fully seeing 'PalPadPark.com' and no longer '1ATK.com'. '1ATK.com' should act as 'PalPadPark.com' has for 2 years ago by redirecting to the main page.

Anyway, remember we also have a Facebook fan page, with nothing going on in it.
However it's in the 1atk! name.
Perhaps we need a group, rather than a fan page, in the 3P name.
I'd create it, if no one else is willing to.

I have several questions:

1. If the teams are now in Social Groups, why are their boards still there?
2. Why do I have a notification for social groups?
3. If the system deletes VM messages, how will we know what we said a few messages ago when we were having a conversation?
4. Is there a VM Heaven (or Hell) and if so, where can I find it?

@Glane: Agreed, something should definantly be done there, more specifically have multiple people in charge of it.

@Dark: As far is I can tell, the Sg's are now our hidden forum.

Also not convinced culling VM's is the best idea.

I agree with this. I think VMs are crucial and shouldn't have been removed. The RPG subforum would have freed up more space if you had removed it instead.

I promise I will update it fairly regularly with site going ons and the occasional facebook challenge or two.
