MYSTERY GIFT OVER WI-FI! The Pikachu-colored Pichu Mystery Gift is now available to everyone in North America with a copy of Pokemon DPPt and a Nintendo Wi-Fi connection. When received, the Pichu will be at level 30, holding an Everstone, and know the moves Charge, Volt Tackle, Endeavor and Endure. Once traded to Pokémon HeartGold or SoulSilver, it activates an event at the Ilex Forest Shrine, allowing players to obtain the Spiky-Eared Pichu. The Mystery Gift will only be available from March 5 - March 26 so make sure to get it before it's over.

Good news! Our database has shaved off 14.6MB. Visitor Messages and Social Group Messages are now pruned to the most recent 10 Messages. I tried to prune till the most recent 100 Messages, but the server takes only 2-digits. So, I might try 99 for now or find another number to prune. Still looking into the code. Also, all smilies work. They were hard coded to the '1atk.com' and needed to be recoded to 'pikachu.palpadpark.com'. The pikachu url hold our badge images, POKEDEX images and IV & STAT Calculator. All badges are now working again too. Some social networking PalPadPark account(s) have been created. PalPadPark for Twitter, YouTube, and GMail are now up and running. Nothing is posted to them yet, but that is for the community to help with videos and such. Our community however has moved toward Pokemon and other nitches. We just need to find those other nitches. Finally, our board is fully seeing 'PalPadPark.com' and no longer '1ATK.com'. '1ATK.com' should act as 'PalPadPark.com' has for 2 years ago by redirecting to the main page.

Good/bad news... We be PalPadPark '3P' again. We tired expanding the community a year ago, and it does not look like it is going to happen. The end results have not been great. Yup! As a community, we should be focusing on our Gym System, Badge (Award) System, Team System, Tournaments/League/Wars, Advertisment and figure out what to do with these Coins. ... Anyways, if you do not remember. This post will refresh your memory: http://palpadpark.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2417 We be sticking with PalPadPark '3P' from now on. I promise I will find another 4 character domain name for this community for those of you who want to continue to advertise. We do however have '3P.hk' as a two character domain, if that helps anyone out. Do not worry we still have '1atk.com' redirecting here. I will let you know if the 1ATK! domain name changes.

If you've been putting off that trip to Hell for financial reasons, it looks like Target might lend you a hand next week. Starting this Sunday, Dante's Inferno will be on sale for only $39.99, a full $20 off the normal retail price. Not a bad deal for a game that has thus far drawn passable reviews. The store is also knocking ten bucks off the the price of NBA 2K10, making it a cool $29.99. Just be warned, while the price is right, you might be waiting a while before you can play a proper game online. Oh, you can also snag a free Ho-Oh or Lugia Pokémon if you pre-order either Pokemon SoulSilver or Pokemon HeartGold. We suggest you do that and pick up Dante's Inferno. » ~RSS~ Readers pick best webcomic: The First Pokemon Trainer

2P Start is living proof that webcomics don't have to be lengthy productions in order to be winners. Last week's Wrapup was conquered by 2P's "The First Pokémon Trainer," the entirety of which is posted above. Then again, 2P Start won a Wrapup last October with a strip that was 47 panels long, so maybe you guys are just attracted to extremes. Second and third place went to Virtual Shackles' "Underwater Overshare" and Penny Arcade's "A Cyclical Argument With a Literal Strawman," respectively.
